I've been working on this costume for waaaay tooo long. But I'm ridiculously proud of it, so it's all good. So much time went into making sure the details came out well. Painting the various parts of the trim alone took hours of work, then came attaching it all. 80% of the sari is handsewn because I didn't like how my machine made it pucker. (Bloody satin shows eeevvverythiiing.)

It was my first time doing a lot of things, including working with pleather extensively, making belts, using fur (for the tails, which are sadly not shown in the few photos I have thus far), and attempting anything this daunting.

The spear will probably be getting it's own deviantion/rant when it's fully finished. There are still things that need to be finished/reworked. Much love for my Cousin, though, for doing most of the work. He's still itching from sanding the fiberglass.

I intend to do some things very differently when I have a proper photoshoot for this costume. Because it will happen. It wiiilll :3
